Blockstreet is committed to complying with all applicable U.S. laws and regulations, including those administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network ("FinCEN"), and other relevant regulatory bodies governing cryptocurrency and digital asset activities.

Prohibited Jurisdictions

Our services, including but not limited to the Blockstreet website, launchpad platform, and any activities related to the BLOCK token or USD1 ecosystem, are NOT available to individuals or entities located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in countries or regions subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions. As of the effective date of this policy, these include:

  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea)
  • Syria
  • Crimea region of Ukraine
  • Donetsk People's Republic (DNR/DPR) region of Ukraine
  • Luhansk People's Republic (LNR/LPR) region of Ukraine

Additionally, our services may be restricted or unavailable to residents of other jurisdictions where targeted sanctions, sectoral sanctions, or other regulatory restrictions apply, including but not limited to certain sectors or individuals in Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, and Burma (Myanmar). This list is subject to change in accordance with updates from OFAC and other regulatory authorities.

Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List Compliance

Blockstreet does not engage with, and expressly prohibits the use of our services by, any individual or entity identified on:

  • OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List)
  • OFAC's Sectoral Sanctions Identifications List (SSI List)
  • OFAC's Foreign Sanctions Evaders List (FSE List)
  • The Consolidated Sanctions List maintained by the U.S. Department of the Treasury
  • Any other sanctions lists maintained by U.S. government agencies or applicable international bodies

This prohibition applies regardless of the individual's or entity's geographic location.

User Representations & Warranties

By accessing or using Blockstreet's services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any prohibited jurisdiction listed above
  • You are not identified on, or owned or controlled by any person or entity identified on, any OFAC sanctions list
  • You are not using any virtual private network (VPN), proxy service, or other means to circumvent geographic restrictions or mask your true location
  • Any cryptocurrency wallet addresses you use with our services are not associated with any sanctioned individual, entity, or jurisdiction
  • You will not use our services to facilitate transactions with or for the benefit of any sanctioned party
  • You will immediately cease using our services if you become subject to any sanctions or relocate to a prohibited jurisdiction

Compliance Measures

To ensure compliance with applicable sanctions laws, Blockstreet may implement and maintain the following measures:

  • Identity Verification: Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) procedures to verify user identities and locations
  • Sanctions Screening: Regular screening of users and transaction counterparties against OFAC sanctions lists and other relevant databases
  • Wallet Address Screening: Analysis of cryptocurrency wallet addresses using blockchain analytics tools to identify connections to sanctioned parties or illicit activities
  • Geographic Controls: IP geolocation tools and other technical measures to identify and restrict access from prohibited jurisdictions
  • Transaction Monitoring: Ongoing monitoring of platform activity to detect and prevent sanctions violations
  • Recordkeeping: Maintenance of records as required by applicable regulations

Consequences of Violation

If Blockstreet determines or reasonably suspects that a user has violated this policy or applicable sanctions laws, we reserve the right to:

  • Immediately suspend or terminate access to our services without prior notice
  • Block, freeze, or restrict any associated accounts, assets, or transactions
  • Report the violation to OFAC, FinCEN, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities
  • Cooperate fully with government investigations and regulatory inquiries
  • Take any other action we deem necessary to comply with applicable laws

Users who violate this policy may be subject to civil and criminal penalties under U.S. law, including substantial fines and imprisonment.
